Frequently asked questions

Do you require a retainer to reserve?

Yes. A non-refundable retainer is required to confirm your date, alongside a signed commission agreement. This reserves your date exclusively and allows us to begin the creative preparation that starts long before the day itself.

Can we customize our Package?

Every Klio film is built from the ground up around your specific story, your day, and what you need from us. If you want film only, we compose for film. If you want photography woven through an entire weekend, we got you covered. If you have something in mind that does not fit neatly into a category, that is usually where our most interesting work begins. Tell us what you are imagining and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

Do you Travel?

Yes, We are based in Lower Mainland and we are available anywhere in the world. Quotes are adjusted based on logistics outside British Columbia.

What is our Style?

Cinematic, film-styled and timeless. We do not direct. We do not pose. We move through a day the way a cinematographer moves through a set, watching for the moments people share without words. The result feels less like video and more like a movie about your story.

Do you give Raw files?

We do not deliver raw footage or unedited files. The editing process is not a finishing step for us, it is as much a part of the work as the day itself. However, for those who want more, we offer Master Clips: a curated selection of cinematic, unedited video moments chosen personally by the artist. The moments that earned their place, presented as they were found.
